Our Natural Resources
With over 1,200 acres of parkland and open space, miles of walking and biking trails, a premier regional athletic complex, three indoor public pools and several community buildings, Lacey’s residents and visitors enjoy one of the finest municipal park systems in the state. Complemented by Puget Sound’s pristine Tolmie State Park, the naturally-inspiring 3,700-acre Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, four golf courses and five freshwater lakes, recreation opportunities are virtually unlimited.
Looking for the Restroom?
Most Lacey Parks restrooms are closed October – March.
ADA restrooms at main park locations remain open year-round, during regular park hours from dawn to dusk.

Community Buildings & Event Facilities
We operate a number of facilities that provide venues for park events, programs, and classes. Many, including the Lacey Community Center and historic Jacob Smith House, are available to rent for meetings, receptions, and other functions. Visit Community Buildings to learn more.
