How To Apply As Park Commission Youth Representative

Youth representatives on the Lacey Board of Park Commissioners, the Lacey Historical Commission, and the Lacey Library Board are selected from the Lacey Youth Council. Youth Representatives are full-voting members of the board or commission on which they serve.

Lacey Youth Council applications are available in the spring for one-year appointments that begin the following September. To learn more about the Lacey Youth Council and how to apply to be a Lacey Youth Councilmember visit here.

The full City Council affirms Youth Representative appointments based on the recommendation of the Mayor.

Obtain an application packet.

  • Fill out the Lacey Youth Council application online here.
  • Have a Lacey Youth Council packet mailed to you by contacting Kelly Adams at (360) 491-3214 or kadams@ci.lacey.wa.us.
  • Pick up a Lacey Youth Council packet at the City Manager’s Office in Lacey City Hall during regular business hours.
