Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus and more holiday ‘celebrities’ will be on hand to meet and greet and take photos too! Then, at 6:30 pm the whole park will glow when we flip the candy cane switch! Join us as we Light Up Lacey for our ‘Annual Lighting of the Park’ with a new holiday celebration!

Have a jolly good time!

From 5:30 – 7:30pm enjoy and explore lighted vehicle displays, food & activity booths. At 6:30 pm you won’t want to miss the Park Lighting Ceremony with the flipping of the Candy Cane Switch to light up the whole park!

Head to Huntamer Park and join us for the Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree in an old-fashioned ceremony where Santa is the guest of honor!  Families are invited to visit with Santa & other holiday ‘celebrities’ and take photos throughout the entire event.

After the lighting and through December, visit Huntamer Park to enjoy the lights, including an interactive light display set to music you can tune into on your car radio!

When is the event?

The Lacey Holiday Lights will be Monday, December 2nd this year from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Head Huntamer Park for lighted vehicles, food vendors, activity booths and more starting at 5:30. Then, see the park lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Don’t forget to get your picture with Santa & Mrs. Claus!

Is there a parade?

Instead of a parade this year, lighted vehicles will be parked & on display around Huntamer Park from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

Will roads be closed?

For the safety of our event participants and visitors, a portion of Woodland Square Loop SE will be closed for the duration of the event (5:30 – 7:30 pm).

At the end of the event, road closures will be opened and lighted vehicles will be guided out of the park.

Does it cost money to view or participate?

Nope! This is a free community event. The only cost would be if you wanted to support one of our local food vendors during the tree lighting. Lighted vehicles & activity booths pay no fee to participate.

Will Santa be there?

YES! Santa will be at Huntamer Park along with other holiday ‘celebrities’ from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. They will be available for meet & greets and pictures throughout the event.
