Thomas W. Huntamer Park is home to the Lacey Summer Concert Series, Children’s Entertainment Series, Outdoor Cinema Series, and other outstanding events. The park is also available for rent by the public.

This downtown park features an outdoor performance stage where numerous outdoor events throughout the summer are held. When not in use for city-sponsored events, this park is available to rent. Near the stage are two outdoor children’s climbing rocks, picnic tables, benches and an open area perfect for picnics.

General Policy Statement
Huntamer Park will not be made available to any group or organization that promotes discrimination, or has a record of discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, gender, marital status, age, sexual orientation, or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability. Permission to use the facility does not constitute an endorsement of a group’s philosophies, policies or beliefs. Reservations are on a first paid, first served basis.
Cancellation Policy
1. There is a $10 non-refundable cancellation fee.
2. Changes/Cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the reservation date to be eligible
for a refund.
3. No refunds will be made due to inclement weather or violation of Park Rules & Regulations or Facility Use Guidelines.
Definitions
Commercial Use: A gathering for sale or promotion of goods and services, or conducting business/training of a private organization. Any other use shall be defined as “social.”
Deposit: An amount paid in advance of an event to secure a rental and to insure proper cleanup, and to cover breakage, loss or damage. Reservations will not be booked without payment of the deposit.
Room Fee: The fee charged for use of a room. Rental occupancy exceeding the scheduled rental time will be charged in 30 minute increments, always rounding up to the full 30 minute increment.
Staff Fee: The fee charged for staffing the facility to accommodate a rental.

Renter Responsibilities
- Full disclosure of your event is required, including estimated attendance, nature of your event, set up and equipment use.
- Each individual in the group must obey all applicable Lacey Parks, City, State and Federal rules, ordinances, laws and regulations.
- Provide general adult supervision & control over all activities to prevent injury or damage to property & participants.
- Provide general clean-up of rental site, including confetti, decorations, balloon remnants, etc. and the removal of all trash which exceeds the capacity of the trash cans provided.
Alcoholic Beverages
Alcoholic beverages and controlled substances of any kind are not allowed in any open park space, including picnic shelters, restrooms & parking lot
Inflatables
Inflatables of any kind are not permitted, including but not limited to bounce houses, slides & water features. Unapproved equipment will be removed and may result in trespass from the park.
Liability
The City of Lacey will not accept liability for injury to users, loss of personal property, or damage to property of the group or an individual.
Minors & Adult Supervision
Groups composed of minors shall be supervised by one adult (18 years of age or older) per 20 juveniles at all times while using rented park area.
Application for use of the facility must be made by the adult who will be responsible for and in attendance at the activity.
Decorations
Decorations/signs are restricted to the covered area and may only be affixed with tape or string.
Public Access
You may not restrict public access to any area outside the covered area. Vehicles may not be driven or parked on sidewalks, paths or grass, except to load & unload, not to exceed 15 minutes.
Canopies & Tents
Canopies measuring up to 10×10 are allowed and must be weighted down. Digging and/or driving stakes into the ground is prohibited. If you bring a gas bbq, it must be used on the cement pad and must not leave any type of residue on the surrounding area.
