Lacey Fireworks Spectacular


For over 50 years, Lacey has celebrated the holiday a day early with a free fireworks show, local food vendors food, and live music!

Getting There

Rainier Vista Park will open to the public at 3pm

Free Parking
Free parking will be available to the public at Rainier Vista Community Park starting at 3pm. Space is limited. Additional parking is available at Aspire Performing Arts Academy (5900 54th Ave SE) located .5 miles away(no shuttle to this location).

  • No saving spots
  • One vehicle per stall, do not block additional stalls.
  • No RVs or trailers allowed
  • Please do not park on residential streets. This causes excessive traffic after the event.
  • No parking allowed along 45th near the park entrance.
  • After the fireworks all vehicles in the park will be directed to exit on to Ruddell Road, right turn only. 

Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available at Rainier Vista Community Park, but if the spots are full, families can drop off people at the park and then park offsite.

Free Shuttles
We are offering free shuttle buses from the following school parking lots: 

Shuttles will run to the schools & the park approximately every 15 minutes from 3:30pm-9:30pm. 
After the fireworks, buses will shuttle everyone back to the three school lots. All buses go to all schools, so load into the first bus in the line.

Food Vendors

Food Vendors: 4 – 9 pm

Burgers, ice cream, funnel cake, and more await you at this year’s spectacular celebration! Check back soon for the full list of food vendors!

There will be no ATMs onsite. Any vendors that are cash only will have signs to indicate as such.

Kid Zone

Kid Zone 4 – 9 pm

Head to the Kid Zone with free rides, face painting, and live reptile shows!

Looking for more fun activities? Head to the picnic shelter near the tennis courts for free patriotic tattoos, character visits, and balloon animals!

Reptile Isle 5:30 and 7 pm

Snakes, Gators, and Lizards! Don Riggs is a zoologist who has worked with these animals for over 30 years. A cross between education and entertainment his programs focus on conservation not only allowing people to see but also to touch and interact with these beautiful creatures that are misunderstood and find out themselves the way they are portrayed in television and movies are not the way they behave in real life.

Entertainment leads to education which leads to conservation. In between shows, check out the Ring of Torti Display!

Live Entertainment

Join us before the fireworks show for live performances from the stage at 5 and 8pm!

90’s House Party 5 pm

House Party is a high energy band performing all of the hottest dance and party hits from the 90’s. We bring you all the music that party memories are made from. There’s no party like a house party!

One of the Northwest’s best premiere show bands! They deliver some of the greatest hits ever made from the past to the present day. They will keep you dancing!

Fireworks

Fireworks – 10 pm

Enjoy the fireworks set to music and elevate your fireworks experience with a free pair of 3D glasses courtesy of Lacey Collision Center!

Pick up your glasses starting June 16th at Lacey Collision, Capital Collision, or at their booth at the event while supplies last.

FAQs

Can I bring . . . ?

Can I bring my own food
You are welcome to bring in your own food and drinks but we want you to know we have a great line up of food vendors ready to serve you at the park.

BBQs are not allowed. This includes park built-in BBQs and portable BBQs. 

There will be no ATMs onsite. Any vendors that are cash only will have signs to indicate as such.

No alcohol is allowed in the park.

Can I bring my own fireworks?
No personal fireworks allowed at the park.

Can I bring my pet?
Pets are allowed at the event on a leash.  Please be aware of how your pet may respond to large crowds and fireworks.

Can I bring a pop up tent?
Personal canopies and pop ups are allowed but must be set up away from the main stage and food vendor areas and be secured by weights. 

Helpful Tips

  • Bring a flashlight, it will be quite dark in the park before and after the fireworks.
  • Bring your own chairs and blankets, canopies are allowed but must be weighted/secured and not in stage area or food vendor areas.
  • Picnic tables near the food vendor areas are for temporary use only, please don’t set up at them for the night. 
  • Lost Child booth in located near the Information Booth
  • First Aid available at our Police & Fire area or at the Information Booth
  • Lost and Found at Information Booth or contact Lacey Parks 360-491-0857 on July 7th.
  • Don’t forget to bring your ear protection if you or a loved one is sensitive to loud noises. We will also have earplugs at the information booth for those that may need them, while supplies last.
