Statement Of Significance The original portions of this house appears to predate the construction date noted on county records. It follows a common residential plan/late bungalow style which was particularly popular in 1920s. During this same period an increase in residential development and the expansion of Lacey occurred in conjunction with new transportation and highway systems. Physical Description The original portion of this house (southern 16′ x 32′ addition c. 1960) follows a common residential plan popularized in the 1920s when features of the bungalow Style and colonial Revival Style were merged to create a simple, symmetrical and efficient cottage plan.
