Submit a Rental Application

The City of Lacey manages the athletic field scheduling in order to assure equitable distribution and achieve maximum use of facilities by the public, and when necessary, protect fields from overuse. The following information is in the sport field rental guide packet.

Rental Rates by Field Type

City of Lacey and North Thurston Public School Fields

Does not include Regional Athletic Complex, South Sound Stadium or North Thurston Public School High School Varsity Baseball or Varsity Softball.

Local League Play – Hourly rate with two hour minimum

*Multiple small-sided games or practices on a single field will be charged individual mini-game area fees.

Non-Profits

The youth usage hourly rate is $19.50. The Adult usage hourly rate is $22.50.

Commercial

All fields rented for commercial use cost 200% of the non-profit hourly rate.

Reservations Required

Reservations are required for the following users and situations.

Sports Associations and Leagues
Businesses
Organizations (Including Non-Profits)
Team games and practices
Usage of the Regional Athletic Complex fields

Drop-In Allowed

Drop-in usage is allowed at for the following users and situations at City of Lacey and North Thurston Public Schools sports fields.

Neighbors, friends, and family for casual activity that is not affiliated with any league or organized team play.
“Pick-up” games that are casually organized, free, and not affiliated with any organization that collects payment or charges fees.

Drop-ins are not allowed at the Regional Athletic Complex.

Drop-in use is not allowed for practices or games for teams in an organized association or league.

Drop-in groups may not use fields that are marked “closed” and may not conduct activities in a manner that damages the field surface.
