In 1998, the City of Lacey and Thurston County jointly acquired this 67 acres. Phase 1 was completed in 2004 and included four soccer/football/rugby fields. Phase 2 construction began in 2008 and is what we see on the site today. Phase 3 (25.99 acres on the west side of Marvin Road) will be developed in the future as funding becomes available.

The RAC is family-friendly by design. Spectator seating offers a stadium-like view. Concession stands are conveniently located near the playing fields. Adjacent playgrounds let families have fun and watch the game simultaneously. Single-stall restrooms are located throughout. The RAC also offers two miles of walking trails and picnic and outdoor event areas for families and group.
The RAC is managed by highly experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering the best possible customer service and ensuring your tournament’s success. Staff is on-site during all tournament play to meet all of your needs.
The RAC features the latest synthetic field turf on all softball / baseball / fastpitch infields and the soccer field. These premium surfaces offer players a better experience and a “true” bounce. Plus, the RAC’s dedicated fields eliminate the issues associated with multi-use fields.
