William A. Bush Park
William A. Bush Park
A park with a picnic shelter, playground equipment, and an open play area. The park is named for William A. Bush, former mayor of Lacey and lifelong supporter of parks and recreation.
In April 2026, the playground for ages 5–12 was replaced with a new tugboat-themed play area named the SS Gateway. The play structure features more play features and rubber surfacing to enhance accessibility.
This project was made possible through the generous support of the Gateway Rotary Club and funding from a grant provided by the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office.
