The Lacey Spring Fun Fair hosts over 75 commercial, artisan, and food vendors every year. Check out some of last year’s vendors, and join us May 20 & 21 for two days full of fun!

Becoming a vendor


The Lacey Spring Fun Fair Mission:

The Lacey Spring Fun Fair aims to build community, pride, and identity, and to provide an annual event that offers fun activities and educational opportunities for families and people of all ages.
Booths and/or space will not be made available for the purpose of advocating a political, social, or religious point of view.



Commercial

Fun Fair’s commercial vendors exhibit an array of family friendly products. Show and sell your product or service to thousands of people at the Fun Fair this year!

Artisan

Fun Fair offers an opportunity for small businesses to exhibit and sell their handmade products. Artisan products must be at least 75% made by the vendor.







Vendor Policies & Info


Hours of Operation

Vendors must be open during the entire fair: Saturday, May 20 10am-6pm, and Sunday, May 21 11am-5pm.

Space is outside and vendors are responsible for their own tent/protection from weather.

Returning Vendors & Duplications

Returning vendors have priority until Jan 31st. Starting Feb 1st, vendors will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

Direct sales & food vendors will not be duplicated. If it is determined your products are a duplication, you will be notified and your registration fee will be refunded.

Vendors at the fair may sell similar products. Although Fun Fair tries to limit vendor similarity, exclusivity is not guaranteed.


Set Up

Approved applicants will get detailed information for set-up prir to the event. Set up must be completed at least 1 hour before the fair opens. All vendors must provide their own tent/tables/chairs. See online registration form for more pricing information.

Electricity

Some electricity is available upon request. Bring a 100’ extension cord. Extension cords are not available for rent or purchase on site.

A $25 fee is required for access to electricity.

Food Vendors

Food vendors at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair are always a big hit!
Register and send us your menu by March 6th and receive an early-bird rate.
Space is limited so apply now!


*Vendor fee before March 6th is $200 plus 10% of gross sales payable at close of event. A refundable cleaning deposit of $100 will be collected along with the registration/vendor fee at the time of acceptance.

Applications & Duplications

Food vendor applicants will be reviewed before confirming participation March 6. Priority is given to returning vendors and then on a first come first serve basis. If you are not selected, you will be notified and a check for the full amount received will be returned to you by March 31.

Main menu items will not be duplicated.


Set Up & Operation

Approved applicants will get detailed information for set-up prior to the event. Set up must be completed at least 1 hour before the fair opens. Vendors must provide their own tent/tables/chairs and cooking equipment. All food trailers with cooking equipment must have 40B:C fire extinguishers.

Fun Fair will provide access to water and dumpsters. There is no access to the kitchen. Liquid waste must be disposed of in an approved system off-site.

Licenses & Permits

Vendors must be licensed and/or possess a permit from the Department of Revenue. Food vendors are required to have Thurston Co. Health Department Certification and display all permits in accordance with Health Dept. regulations. Contact the Health Dept. at (360) 786-5590 for more information.

Vendors must include a certificate of insurance for public liability coverage of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. Our recommended provider is FLIP.


Vendor Fees

Prior to the initial March 6 deadline, the registration fee is $200. After March 6, the registration fee is $275. Vendors will also be charged 10% of their gross Fun Fair sales payable at the close of the event.

A refundable $100 deposit will be collected to assure prompt arrival and clean-up.

Electricity

Electricity is available and will be provided based on applications. Electricity is limited so we recommend using a generator if you have one (must be 70 DCB or less).

Bring a 100’ extension cord. Extension cords are not available for rent or purchase on site.





FAQs


How many people come to Fun Fair?

The Lacey Spring Fun Fair is one of the largest two-day festivals in Southwest Washington, with over 20,000 people in attendance! This FREE event attracts families from the entire South Sound region and is a great opportunity for our participants.

How much is a booth?

Booth prices vary depending on the type of vendor, size of booth, and date of application.

Before March 6, 2023 a 10×10 Commercial vendor booth is $200, and a 10×10 artisan vendor booth is $150.

What products can I sell?

Vendors can sell family friendly products only. No blades, toy guns, tobacco, or CBD products (including e-cigarettes and other smoking paraphernalia). Fun Fair reserves the right to exclude selling of questionable items prior to approval.

All artisan products must be at least 75% created by the applicant.

Booths/space will not be made available to groups or individuals for the purpose of advocating a particular political, social, or religious point of view. In the conduct of the festival, individuals or groups will not be allowed to solicit outside of established booths/space.

When are the application deadlines?

For commercial and artisan vendors, returning vendors have priority until Jan. 31. Starting Feb. 1, vendors will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Completed applications must be received by 5:00pm on Monday, March 6, 2023 in order to receive the early bird rate. Regular rates apply March 7-April 21.

Applications after April 21 will be accepted only if vendor space is available and will be charged an additional $25 fee.

Food vendor applications will be reviewed on the deadline date of March 6, 2023. First priority is given to returning vendors, then on a first come first serve basis. If space is still available after March 6, additional vendors may be accepted with an added $75 fee.
